Pretty in Pink!

'Love That Shot' is looking for our 'pretty in pink' photos!!  Having a boy, it's not often I see pink, but I do have this pretty shot of the dogwood tree in bloom taken just after the rain.  I love the softness and the water droplet ready to fall to the ground!

Morning Sun

Love the Shot would love to see some 'morning sun', so here is my entry!!  This was Jack about a week ago, first thing in the morning, trying his hardest to catch butterflies or moths with his net in the field out back!

Me

A self portrait of myself, taken a few months back.  A perfect shot for the 'Love that Shot Oh, So dramatic!' photo challenge!!

Cousins

Jack and I met up with my sister, my mom and my niece at a local nature center.  The kids really enjoyed their time exploring in the meadow...

The back field...

Behind our property is a field that belongs to my brother-in-law & sister-in-law.  They let the grass grow tall and it is used for hay.  I love getting shots back there, and my son really loves looking for butterflies, snakes, or any other critter he comes across!

My favorite spot!

As you know, I am a beginner photographer.  My son, Jack, is used more often than not on my 'practicing' photoshoots....thankfully he is a willing participant! ;)

We went to my favorite park a few times in the last couple of weeks and took some portraits there...

Summertime treasures

Love that Shot wants to see our summertime treasures, a photo that shows our favorite part of summer!  I think for me, it would be seeing my son Jack, who is 4, collect seashells at the beach.  This was taken about a week ago!

Hello!

Hi!

My name is Kim, and I have always been interested in photography.  I am just starting out, learning as I go, to become a portrait photographer.

I live in Connecticut with my husband and 4 year old son, Jack.  We love the outdoors, hiking, geocaching, letterboxing, camping, and nature photography.

I hope that you will enjoy seeing my work!
